Tiffany Brutus is the inaugural Assistant Director of OVPR’s new Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Partnership Initiative. She will support researchers across all three campuses by providing matchmaking, liaison services and tracking partnerships, with a focus on building ethical, impactful relationships with Minority-Serving Institutions.

Brutus has over 15 years of experience working in higher education settings. Most recently she served as a Research Development Associate and Co-Head of Inclusive Excellence at James Madison University (JMU) where she successfully spearheaded initiatives to bolster faculty research, scholarship, and creative activities.

She received her BS and MS from JMU and is currently completing her PhD in strategic leadership and organization development.
