Patricia Smith

Patricia Smith is a member of the OVPR Business Operations team and serves as the Associate Director for Human Resources for the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR). She is responsible for human resources operations in OVPR and its reporting units, works closely with OVPR leadership as well as OVPR unit directors and administrators, and oversees support provided by the OVPR HR Team. Patricia has worked for U-M since 1995, and has many years of experience in past roles as a business administrator, providing administrative oversight in the areas of financial activity, human resources, research administration and facilities management. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a concentration in Near Eastern Studies.
