Melissa Karby

Melissa Karby joined the Office of the Vice President for Research as the Associate Director for Research Administration in October 2020. Her responsibilities include working with the UMOR research units on the processing and managing of sponsored research, managing the UMOR cost share program and serving on institutional committees pertaining to Research Administration. 

 Melissa is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) and has worked for the University for 20 years in a multitude of roles in research administration. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baker College and is certified in Lean thinking and processing.
