Lynsey Fitzpatrick

Lynsey Fitzpatrick leads research intelligence services to inform funding strategies and advance U-M research initiatives. She joined OVPR in 2024 from the University of California San Diego, where she held roles in research development and innovation.

Prior roles focused on faculty governance, communications, alumni relations and international research at MIT, Harvard Business School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Lynsey received an MA in Russian studies and a BA in social anthropology. She holds certification in competitive intelligence from the Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and is a member of the Competitive Intelligence Working Group led by Arizona State University.
