Jankeesh Sandhu

Jankeesh Sandhu is the Project Senior Manager on OVPR’s new Research Intelligence team. In her role, she will support a new effort to help U-M proactively identify emerging national and global research trends, including priorities for federal and private sector stakeholders. She works closely with teams across OVPR including the Office of Research Development, the Office of Public Engagement and Research Impacts, Research Foundation Partnerships, Office of Federal Relations, and RADIO.

Before joining OVPR, Jankeesh worked for more than 4 years at International Organizations such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC. She also worked for U-M’s Economic Growth Institute and the Center for Local, State, and Urban Policy in U-M’s Ford School of Public Policy. Jankeesh holds a B.A. in Economics from Mumbai University, and a M.Sc. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
