As a communications specialist in the Office of the Vice President for Research, Wendy Sutton develops and implements communication strategies to increase awareness of research initiatives at the University of Michigan. She supports MI Hydrogen, the Quantum Research Institute (QRI), the Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery & Engineering (MICDE), the Michigan Program for Advancing Cultural Transformation (M-PACT), the AI Institutes at Michigan (AIIM) and Impact Institutes.
Sutton contributes articles and editorial support to MICDE Magazine, which highlights research and educational advancements in computational science, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing in science and engineering at the University of Michigan. She also regularly contributes articles to Michigan Research, the University of Michigan’s monthly e-newsletter produced by the Office of the Vice President for Research.
Prior to joining OVPR, Sutton worked as a Public Relations Coordinator within the U-M College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
