Kimberly Mann joined the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) in October 2026. In this role, Kimberly oversees a team of four research administrators who manage pre- and post-award activities for the OVPR portfolio of research projects. She represents OVPR on various committees and work groups and serves as a liaison to research offices in the Schools and Colleges across UM.

Prior to joining OVPR, Kimberly worked in the College of Engineering, first as a research administrator in Computer Science and Engineering and then as the Unit Administrator of Robotics. She helped lead the team to transition Robotics from a research institute with a grad program to a full academic department.

Kimberly holds a master’s degree from University of New Mexico, and is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
