Henry Dyson directs the University of Michigan’s Faculty Honorifics Office, which advances national and international recognition of U-M faculty across the full range of external awards, prizes, fellowships and elections to prestigious societies and academies. He works across the university with faculty, academic units and university leaders to develop honorifics strategies, identify and cultivate opportunities, strengthen nomination practices and build U-M’s institutional capacity for faculty recognition.
Henry received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Emory University and was a research fellow and lecturer in U-M’s Departments of Philosophy and Classical Studies. Before joining OVPR, he founded U-M’s Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships.
