Research Catalyst and Innovation Program (RCI)
Launched in Spring 2021, the Research Catalyst and Innovation (RCI) Program includes several new funding mechanisms totaling more than $1.5 million in annual support.
The program infuses funding and fosters increased collaboration to catalyze research and spur innovation across the three University of Michigan campuses.
Bold Challenges programs assist faculty in building teams and designing large-scale proposals, including a team development program and consulting services for advanced projects.
The programs within Bold Challenges offer financial support to support researchers across disciplines in their pursuit of large-scale awards from government, industry and foundations.
