Jessica Brassard is the Graphic Designer in the University of Michigan’s OVPR Research Development office. She creates visuals that increase clarity and saliency for high-value, high-impact proposals and OVPR initiatives. Jessica has a long background in fine art, design, and marketing and transitioned to research development in 2015. In all aspects of her life, Jessica strives to find ways to improve the world around her.
Jessica has a B.A. from Michigan Technological University in Scientific and Technical Communication. She has worked at two advertising and marketing agencies and on an in-house communication team for a regional health system. Before joining U-M, she was Associate Director of Research Development at Michigan Technological University where she worked with faculty and students across campus on funding proposals, initiatives, and faculty development. Jessica serves the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) on the Mentoring Committee, Conference Committee, and Great Lakes Executive Committee. She also coaches for her local cross country ski program, the Ski Tigers.
