Bianca Kashat

As a communications specialist with the Office of Vice President for Research (OVPR), Bianca Kashat collaborates with four teams, Consulting for Statistics, Computing and Analytics Research (CSCAR), Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery and Engineering (MICDE), Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS), and Research Cores, to generate increased awareness around their discoveries, innovations and services. She’s also responsible for managing a variety of digital communications tools, like websites, newsletters, and more.

Before she joined OVPR in 2023, she was the communications coordinator at the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust. Kashat received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Wayne State University.
